Is Your Present (time)... Your Present (gift)?

Were you made for a time such as this?

          Before you were born, God planned an incredible life for you. He gave you a gift. He instilled it in you. He has been trying to fulfill it.  Your gift was meant to be used for the advancement of the Kingdom and the glory of God. 

          What do you dream of doing? What are you good at? Your dreams can’t be fulfilled for you. You must make the choice to ask Jesus to fulfill the purpose His Father God has for you in this life. 

           How many times have you dared to dream? You had a really great idea, and you were excited to share it with friends and family, only to have it shot down. When you share your dreams with others, they often struggle to understand them. 

          Others can’t see what God has shown you, just like you don’t know what God has shown them. That’s why sometimes we have to go through situations alone. God may need to carve people out of your life for a reason, a season, or a lifetime. Your circle of friends is supposed to want to see you excel. This may mean you need to leave people behind to grow into a new circle that they aren’t ready for yet. True friends want the best for you; and you should want the same for them. This is God testing your faith to see if you will follow where He leads.

          It’s your dream. Others can’t see it because God didn’t give that dream to them; it was only for you to see. 

                   Your Dreams + God's Guidance + Your Obedience + God's Provision 

                    = Blessing for You!

There are only two ways to deal with any issue:

     #1. Ignore it—and wait for the consequences to catch up with you later. By them, the problem may have grown out of control.

     #2. Deal with it. Go through the problem. Don’t go around it. Meet it head-on. Cutting out sin is always painful, best to deal with it before it takes hold.

          Life is where you get to live out your dreams and store up your treasures for Heaven. So, you had better get started. Don’t listen to the noise and distractions of this world. Wake up. Pray. Listen. Seek God’s Will in your life. Dare to dream big dreams. Work hard to bring your dream to reality. Then live to the fullest. Your potential is only limited by your desire to live out God’s Will for your life. Don’t try to follow someone else's dream. It won’t work. That’s just a waste of time. 

          Ask God for the desires of your heart. Be as detailed and specific as possible.  God didn’t provide His Ten Commandments to stop humanity from having any fun; God had to provide those rules to stop humanity from killing themselves and others by overindulging in every pleasure possible. God’s way is order; the devils way is chaos. Ask Jesus to help you put your life in order.

          God is still with you. He loves you so. No one else can ever take your place in His heart. If you have breath in your lungs, He is still there, wanting to bless you in every way He can. As your heavenly Father, all He ever wanted was to give you the best He had to offer. Children always think they know better. Why must we wait so long to learn that couldn’t be further from the truth?

          God has been waiting patiently for long enough. You’ve suffered long enough. The biggest lie is waking up every day, thinking that you have no choice in the matter. Trust in Jesus. Leave all the negativity and hurt behind. Leave the abuse behind. Take one step in a healthier direction. Head back to church. Don’t overthink it. Just go. You can do it. 

          People are waiting to help you. They sincerely want to help you. They have lived through the similar hardships, and they have made the decision to help others to avoid that pain. Others have made it through. Please let them help you. Just show up. Listen to what God has to say to you individually.  Talk to Jesus in prayer. Be truly thankful for the breath of life He gave you. Show you are grateful by living a life of praise and worship.

          You can be sure of two things in this life. People will be born, and people will die. Throughout your lifetime, you can anticipate a variety of outcomes, good and bad. Experience the peace of knowing that Jesus is standing with you as you face each battle. Not only can he provide protection from external adversaries, but he can also assist in overcoming the internal struggles that are often the most challenging. This support helps to prevent self-inflicted harm.

          You may fall in love with someone that might not love you back. This happens. That person wasn’t right for you. Don’t stop loving. Don’t stop trying. Don’t give up. There is hope. Come back to church. Be a part of God’s community. Fall in love with Jesus.

          There is no better time than right now. Just close your eyes and open your heart. Ask God to come in and give you new life. Tell Him that you recognize that you are a sinner who needs salvation and your heartfelt desire for repentance. When you acknowledge your sins and commit to turn away from them. Ask Jesus to enter your heart and be your personal Lord and Savior. Tell Jesus you believe He died for your sins when He was crucified on the cross and rose to life on the third day. Ask Him to guide your every step, showing you His Will for your life. 

          He can elevate you to reach amazing, new God given dreams. Amen!
